How To Use ‘The Secret’ For Weight Loss

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

By Sheri O. Zampelli The Secret is a movie about the Law of Attraction. Its popularity is growing daily, especially after Oprah dedicated two entire shows to talking about the movie and interviewing the stars. Oprah wanted to know if the Law of Attraction applies to weight loss and the answer is yes. According to The Secret, every thought, feeling and action sends an electrical impulse to the brain. For sake of simplicity, Im going to call this electrical impulse a message unit. In our society we have the opportunity to absorb thousands of message units daily that will prevent any chance of long-term success with weight loss. In fact, Im bold enough to assert that some of these messages are creating the weight epidemic in modern society. We are bombarded daily with message units of slender, young and flawless images in the media. Since most of us do not meet the perfect image set by the media the underlying subconscious deduction is something like this: Im not good enough, Im not thin enough, Im too fat, I dont measure up. So, if the law of attraction works the same for everything, guess what? You are attracting your weight problem simply by living in this society and absorbing the perfect images crowding your environment. If you constantly reinforce Im not good enough you are sending a command to the Universe. The command is: Give me everything that is not good enough because that is what I am and that is what I deserve. In addition to the extreme level of bombardment from media sources, many of us also get the not good enough message at home from family, friends and our significant other. Sometimes well meaning or perhaps downright cruel family members will say things like, Youre getting fat or Youre a blimp or Youre a Whale or any one of a long string of verbal insults. Since these message units come from important figures in our life, they hold more power than daily media message units and they stay in our minds longer. Many times these harmful comments are repeated in our own minds thousands, even millions of times over the course of our lives. We repeat the words to ourselves so many times that they become our own self-talk. Some of the women I see in my office have struggled with weight for 25 years or more and it all started after their brother called them fatty or their mom took them to a diet program because they didnt look like the other girls. In most cases, these women look back on their teenage pictures with dismay and confusion as they ask themselves, How could I have ever thought I was fat or, Why did people call me fat? The truth is, many times the girl that is called fatty is not fat. She is simply full or voluptuous or even just normal. Over the years we have lost touch with normal because weve been bombarded our entire life with thinner-than-healthy and even thinner-than-possible images of young women thousands of times each day. We begin to think that ultra-thin is the standard or ideal and to think of normal as fat because of our conditioning. The truth is, there is a wide range of shapes and sizes and all of them are right in fact, diversity is our beauty. If you use the BMI (Body Mass Index) as a guide for healthy weight rather than the mass medias impossible images, or your own inner negative self-talk, youll begin to see that health comes in various sizes and shapes. Diets directly contribute to weight problems because of the Law of Attraction. The problem with diets is that all the focus is on deprivation. Imagine how many message units you send to yourself when dieting. It probably sounds something like this: I cant have that, I cant have this, I can never have anything good, I have to suffer to be thin, its so easy to put on weight but so hard to take off. Add all of these message units together and you have tens of thousands of messages that are completely contradictory and adversary to your potential success in becoming permanently thin and attaining a size and shape thats right for you. Another way we can sabotage our weight loss efforts is by sending inconsistent messages. For example, every time you say something to yourself like I should eat more vegetables and you DONT, you send a message: I dont do what I say Im going to do. Every time you say, I need to exercise and you DONT, you send another message: I dont make time for myself (translation: Im not important or Im last on the list). So, guess what? Youre creating a body and a life thats not good enough and not worth the time. If you put self-care last and everything else first then you will probably never see the results you desire because something else will always be more important. The movie The Secret talks about how everything is energy. A person with a weight problem has a lot of blocked or stored energy in their body and that energy needs to be released. Some of the ways to do this include crying, yelling, journaling and talking with a friend, therapist or coach. I have referred many of my clients to Deep Emotional Release Body Work with James Hyman. This type of work can produce immediate and lasting freedom from the effects of the hurts and traumas of childhood. When you release emotional blocks you are free to create and maintain a healthy eating style that will lead to gradual and permanent weight loss. Part of the way to break free from the constant barrage of not good enough message units is to be aware that they exist. Become consciously aware of what you see and what you dont see on the cover of every magazine. Notice how often you see these images and in how many different places throughout the day or night. Notice the headlines. Notice your self-talk. Are you comparing yourself harshly to an impossible standard? Are you judging or berating thin people? How are you feeling? Do you feel fat, ugly, invisible or unimportant? If you live in a metropolis like I do, you see and hear these message units all day, everyday. They are on busses, bus benches, billboards, shopping carts, magazines, radio talk shows, T.V. shows, newspapers, websites, direct mail, e-mail and more. Millions of message units are delivered to you daily and they all say the same thing: You are not good enough. If you are a passive recipient of these messages, you create a life and a body that fits the criteria of not good enough. You will constantly strive to improve your look but no matter what you do, it will not be good enough. Luckily, you can use the same techniques the media uses to your own benefit and youll only have to spend a few dollars doing it. Also good to know: messages that you create personally are more powerful to your subconscious mind than messages from the mass media. In the Donate Your Weight program I provide several pages of positive affirmations you can use to focus on weight loss success and self-care. In my affirmation CDs I use the power of repetition and help listeners to focus on desired outcomes. You can use the same technique by recording your affirmations in your own voice and listening to them continuously throughout the day. Many times we have a weight problem because we always focus on what we dont want. We repeat and rehearse words like Im fat or I still need to lose more weight and eventually we create that reality. If you use affirmations daily on flash cards or audio recordings, you will begin to create the life and the body you want. You can also use a vision board to create weight loss results. Simply cut out or create words and pictures that symbolize what you want to look like and feel like and focus on it every day. Be sure to avoid unrealistic images. There are many things you can do with only a few dollars that will literally change your life but you have to be willing to take the time to become aware of the messages that are creating or nurturing your weight problem in the first place. Then, youll need to dedicate time in your daily life to create a new reality. Just as your body today is a product of past thoughts and actions, your body of the future will be transformed based on the new thoughts and actions you reinforce from this day forward. Sheri O. 5 Tips to Help You Market When You Think You’re Too Busy

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

By Debbie LaChusa What if you’ve taken the time to create a marketing plan but now you’re so busy servicing your current clients that you’re having a hard time keeping on track with your plan? Is it okay to set the plan aside for awhile? After all you’ve got enough business to keep you busy. And, you’re not sure you could handle additional clients right now anyway. While marketing may not seem like a necessary activity when your business is going gang-busters, its only a matter of time before your lack of marketing starts to impact your business. Staying on top of your marketing plan, even when you’re busy, ensures you always have a pipeline full of prospects and clients into your business. While you may be busy right now, if you stop marketing for the next three months, you may find yourself high and dry when it comes to clients, because you’ve stopped the flow. As an independent professional myself, I can totally relate to being too busy to market. It seems the days are never long enough to get everything on my to-do list done. But as a marketing professional I know I cant afford to NOT get my marketing done. So whats a busy gal (or guy) to do?!? Here are 5 suggestions ─ these are things I do and recommend to all my clients in my 10stepmarketing System. (1) If you havent already, create a marketing calendar. Schedule all of your marketing activities in the calendar according to how frequently you planned to do them in your marketing plan. If you planned to do something monthly, enter it on the calendar once each month. Weekly? Enter it four times per month. Do this for every planned activity. (2) Hang your marketing calendar over your desk on a bulletin board or on the wall. Make a habit of looking at it every morning. This way you won’t have the problem of out of site out of mind. I cant tell you how many clients Ive had whose marketing plans have ended up in a file folder in a drawer. You’re certainly NOT going to grow your business that way! (3) Try incorporating your marketing activities into your weekly and daily to-do list. Enter the activities as to-do tasks in your calendar or PDA just like all your appointments and other business activities. I do this with all my marketing activities. I use Microsoft Outlook and a Pocket PC and its the only way I know Ill keep myself on track. If somethings on my calendar, I treat it like any other meeting or appointment and I do it. For example, every Wednesday, a little notice pops up to remind me to write my weekly ezine. If that didnt happen Id either be writing it on Mondays at midnight, or it wouldnt get done. (4) Pick one day per month to review your marketing calendar in detail and to look three months ahead. Whats coming up that you need to prepare for now? What do you need to transfer into your to-do list or PDA to make sure you dont forget to do it? I usually do this at the end of the month when Im doing all my month-end work ─ things like running sales reports, doing billing, and updating my marketing tracking reports. Make it a habit to review your marketing at the same time you do these tasks. After a few months you won’t even have to think about it anymore, it’ll become a habit. (5) Consider hiring an assistant or support person to help. If they can take some of the tasks off your plate that really dont require your expertise, it will free you up to focus on what I call revenue producing activities. These are things like working with clients, creating products and services and marketing. I couldnt believe the difference it made when I hired some help. I didnt think I could afford it, but now I dont see how I lasted so long without help! When you find a way to get back on track with your marketing and you do it on regular basis, it really does become a part of the way you do business. Suddenly it doesnt seem like marketing anymore. Its just what you do to run your business. Thats when it becomes effortless. And, that’s when you know your business will be continue to be busy and profitable for the long-haul. Making Interest Only Loans Work For You

Monday, August 27th, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Chuck_Aikens]Chuck Aikens If you want to lower your mortgage payment, there is a good chance you will evaluate an Interest Only option on your mortgage loan. An Interest Only option might be a good fit for someone whose income is mostly in the form of infrequent commissions or bonuses or who expects to earn more money in a few years. Business owners with unpredictable incomes might benefit from interest only loans also. The Interest Only option was originally designed for financially savvy borrowers who will truly invest the savings on the difference between an interest-only mortgage and an amortizing mortgage, and who are confident that the investments will make money. Financial advisers don’t recommend interest-only mortgages to regular wage earners who take out moderate-size home loans and don’t have a strategy for investing the savings. With an interest-only mortgage loan, you pay only the interest on the mortgage in monthly payments for a fixed term. After the end of that term, usually ten years, you refinance, or pay the balance in a lump sum, or start paying off the principal, in which case the payments jump skyward. Let’s say you borrowed $250,000 at 6 percent. For the first three years, the savings on an interest-only loan would amount to less than $250 each month. Double the loan amount to $500,000 at 6 percent, and an interest-only loan saves more than $350 in the first month. In addition to the monthly savings, the lower monthly payment also allows borrowers to buy much more house. The Interest Only option is a good option for individuals who have a future of increased earnings ahead of them who want to buy more house now. Without the interest only, the homeowners may find themselves with continuous buying up transactions where real estate and moving costs would otherwise chip away at home equity gains. Among the risks of an Interest Only option is that the house will lose value or not appreciate as rapidly as the borrower believes. People must remember that the principal must be paid at some point and the Interest Only option will prohibit them from building equity in their home. However, during the past decade, most homeowners have built their equity through appreciation and not by paying down the mortgage. Understanding that the Interest Only option is not for everyone, you can use this option on most loan programs to minimize your monthly payment, qualify for more home when buying, and gain some financial flexibility for your overall financial goals. To Be Renewed

Saturday, August 25th, 2007

By Ashley Thomas Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing he deceives himself. But let each one examine his own work, and then he will have rejoicing in himself alone and not in another. Galatians 6: 2-4. It’s a familiar statement often said that is all in the mind. The mind doesn’t just think as some understand, the mind is able to feel as well, for example you can love something so much, that you just can’t imagine being without it. Those thoughts of joy and delight that cause chemistry in you to start flowing, emanated from your mind. As in joy and delight, the mind can also experience great trauma. That is why modern day medication understands this important aspect and therefore is able to numb the sense factor, to help many cope with what would be otherwise great pain. Our mind is what God had in mind to restore. Since the fall of man, the mind has become flesh centred rather than Word centred. Speak that way to some of your friends and you probably be met with a puzzling look. The fleshly mind only understands things that pertain to itself, therefore it is self governed. Let me explain - a self governed individual, makes decisions on what they perceive to be in their overall best interest. Sometimes they like their decisions, and sometimes they don’t. If they don’t, they have regrets and if they do they are joyous. However there are problems with self government, because sin always rebels against any form of rule. We call it lawlessness - oh the law is good as long as it applies to someone else. The moment it applies to us, we seek ways to change the rules. We will find ways to justify our actions and what we would discover in the end is that the flesh is altogether corrupt and it refuses to change no matter what. There remains only one way to have a change of mind - and that is to renew the way it thinks by a new source. This source is the truth that liberates one from paying servitude to self. Instead it transforms the mindset that it no longer desires self gratification. And yes you guessed it, this source is indeed the Living Word of God. Through daily intake of the Word, a fresh perspective is given. Instead of being a slave to something that controls us, we discover what it means to be really free. No longer mastered by anything but liberated to serve God in joy and peace. A renewed mind is what you and I need continually. I know discarding the fleshly mind is never an easy thing to do, yet there is a way for us to bring that mind over into submission to Christ. Some of you would say - but how? The answer lies with humility, a desire to humble/lower yourself before an almighty God. A proud person does not know how to exercise this trait and remains alienated from God’s life. But the humble are not only raised to life, they receive much power and grace to help them walk in this new path that God delights in. Are you longing for a renewed mind? Lower yourself before God. If you think much of yourself, think less and when you can do so, you will discover the greatness of God and what He has to bestow upon your life. Ephesians 4:1-3 ” … I beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.” Amen! Should All Subjects Be Homeschooled Equally?

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

By Christopher Byrnes Homeschool parents benefit from technology to enhance and complement traditional ways of teaching on school campus. There are several educational software and teaching packages that can help develop a curriculum. The internet is a very useful means that is full of educational resources; online dictionaries, libraries, encyclopedias and museums. Depending on your State’s homeschooling law, the following may apply: 1. School officials can inquire about the parents’ qualifications to instruct or teach their child; however instructing parents do not necessarily need to have a particular educational qualification. A high school graduate or less can instruct the child, provided that she has the capability and a sound mind. 2. Children in the elementary level should be taught the following: English, which includes reading, spelling and writing; math, geography, science, civics, history, physiology and health, music, physical education and art. 3. Children in the high school level, should be taught the following: English, which includes speech, language, literature and composition, science which will include chemistry and biology; social studies, geography, economics, history of the U.S.A, world history, mathematics which will include algebra, geometry and statistics; music, art, physiology and health, physical and safety education. 4. School officials can inquire regarding subjects that the child should study, demand the length of homeschool year, and allocate instruction hours for every subject. While they can determine instruction hours for every subject, they should not control the method in which these subjects are to be taught. This means that homeshooling parents can determine and evaluate instruction hours based on their method of homeschool, not necessarily to be able to imitate the public school, rather equal and match it according to efficiency and systematic approach. In homeschooling, it is up to the parent to determine the child’s intellectual needs. Subjects to be taught do not require specific hours of teaching, although each subject needs an allotted time, in order for the child to absorb fully what is taught. Moreover, schedule keeping is not a significant factor in homeschooling where usage and understanding of time are so much different. 5. School officials can recognize and classify instructional materials, only for the reason of determining the subject and the child’s grade or level. They should not utilize this right to demand the way or style of teaching, with which subjects are to be taught. When the child is having difficulty in a certain subject, for instance in reading, then the parent should allow longer hours for reading allowing the child enough time to learn that particular subject. On the subject that the child willingly and easily learns and grasps, the parent may shorten the time spent on that subject and allocate the extra hours for subjects which the child finds hard to comprehend, to subjects that the child poorly progresses on. At homeschooling, the child can take the time to learn and explore each subject at his/her own speed, in his or her own capacity. And the parent can find creative ways to make learning and teaching fun. A few efficient and helpful teaching materials that are not tangible, such as community service, travel, visits to parks and museums, etc., will definitely grant significant learning skills and knowledge aside from those learned from books. 6. Parents and school officials must reach an agreement on a system of evaluation or assessment for the child; either standardized testing, periodic reports on the child’s progress or dated samples of work. Determine your child’s learning ability and style so that: 1. You’ll know what approach to use or be well equipped in teaching them. It is a wrong notion that some parents have, to presume that their kids learn the way they do. For example, when parents are visual learners, they also expect their children to be visual learners. Just remember that children are different individuals; usually having distinct learning styles compared to their parents and even their siblings. The sooner that you learn and comprehend each child’s learning style the sooner that you can effectively teach them. 2. You’ll be prepared to decide on a curriculum for homeschooling. If you are not familiar with your child’s learning styles, there is the possibility that you will select a curriculum that can not be an effective tool for your child’s learning. 3. You can better identify and understand your child’s educational needs. When children fail to effectively communicate, they, much like everyone else, get upset and discouraged. However, if you understand your child’s learning styles, you can be able to assist your child to understand themselves better, enabling them to interact and correspond better with their peers. Understanding their learning styles and their capabilities will enable you to determine how many hours they need for each subject; homeschooling does not require strict hours of teaching your child in any subject. It all depends on how well your child progresses; if he can do his math in less time in regard to the curriculum set for him, then good. If you feel he needs to spend more time in reading, then he should. FREE comprehensive guide to homeschooling. Click here to download it now! Man and Commitment - Why Men Are Afraid of Making Commitment In A Relationship

Monday, August 20th, 2007

By Michael Douglas The C-word or committing to a relationship implies the end of freedom for most men. Live-in relationships are on the rise these days and both men and women are deferring marriage. Yet, most men prefer to have light relationships rather than commit to just one. Just why are men so afraid of commitment? We explores the reasons… Freedom’s the word Men want to be free and for most of them, having a steady relationship means giving up that precious freedom. Explains Dan Nicholas, a marketing executive, “We men are extremely independent by nature. We like to make our own decisions and run our lives according to our own rules. We want to do what we want and when we want. But, when a woman enters the picture, all the choices a guy used to take for granted - like hanging out with his friends or watching his favourite programs are gone.” Adds Caroline Howard, a MNC executive, “Men are scared of taking family and financial responsibility. Moreover, with changes in the lifestyle since the new economic policies, the younger generation wants to enjoy life, without getting into a serious relationship. There is yet another apprehension men have - is she the right person to marry? What men want is a girl friend with whom he can go to pub and discotheque and not a behenji whom he has to marry. The younger generation is not interested in a long-term relationship.” Men also want to be free to find that perfect woman and that makes them ready to flit from one relationship to another. Explains Mike Jonson, a sales executive, “Men are often not satisfied with their partner. They want to explore the field and see if there is any other woman, who is better than the previous one and more suitable for them.” Career is often another reason with many men wanting to be financially secure before committing to someone. According to software engineer Nick Trevor, “These days, there are fewer societal pressures to marry and we can weigh our options instead of just jumping directly from school into marriage. We can afford to wait for that perfect woman while we concentrate on getting our careers off the ground, save to buy a house, or actively play the field.” Adds Tony Mckenzie, IT consultant, “Guys look for financial security before they commit, because love alone cannot feed the stomach. So, most guys want to have a heavy bank account and enjoy life, before settling down.” Emotional baggage There are also men who have been in a serious relationship and been burned in it. Now, they want to take it easy instead. So, for Jim Morris, “After my break-up, I want to just enjoy life. I am ready to wait and see if I find someone I really like, before making that decision.” For a lot of women, commitment is the finish line for their adult lives. But, that also leads to the man feeling pressured and hesitant to commit. Explains, Dennis Becker, a graphic designer, “When a woman starts saying things like ‘when are we going steady’, it makes me nervous. Why can’t we take things slow? I feel pressure from women really scares men and that makes them leave.” Sums up DU student, Monica Lenski, “For men, commitment means being emotionally dependent on the woman for her approval. That’s why they avoid it.” About the Author Michael Douglas is a relationship expert and he is the owner of Love-Lectures.com where he provides love advice and relationship advice to help you create better and successful relationships. How To Be Friends With Your Bank Manager - He Might Even Take You To Lunch!

Saturday, August 18th, 2007

By Marcus Owen-Henson Bank managers have a habit of writing nasty letters when they are owed money and only get excuses instead of payment, from their clients. If you have received such a letter then you may be upset and feel that your banker is being totally unreasonable by being so pushy. However, remember that he has someone higher up sitting on his back, so you can’t really blame him for doing his job and chasing you for what you owe, can you? But, it’s not very pleasant when a crisp white envelope marked “Private and Confidential” lands on your desk and you’ve a pretty good idea what it contains. “Dear Mr. Businessman, it has come to my notice that you have exceeded your overdraft limit once again and I must..”. Panic! What do you do now? The secret to keeping a friendly relationship with your bank is to keep your account in credit, or at least within the borrowing limits you agreed with them. Easier said than done in these difficult times, so where will you find the money? The answer is there, right under your nose. Your account customer’s have it sitting in their banks! How much money have they borrowed from you and are now very reluctant to pay back? “Borrowed? you say. I haven’t loaned them any money”. Oh yes you have. When you allow them credit for goods or services you have supplied, you are in effect loaning them money, your money interest free. The (loan) terms are that they pay you at an agreed time as set out in your terms of business, but how many keep to that agreement? Not all, and that is where you will find the extra money to keep your bank manager sweet. The very day after the agreed date for settlement is the legitimate time for you to chase them for your money and, if they havent paid, chase them hard. Your bank manager won’t hesitate to chase you for what you owe him, now it’s your turn. What’s that? You don’t want to upset a good customer? How good is a customer if he owes you money by constantly not paying his account on time? In business a slow payer can often turn very quickly into a bankrupt and then you’ve lost the lot! If your customer keeps making excuses, then he must be in trouble and that could mean even bigger trouble for you in a very short space of time. Back to your bank manager. Do what he does before allowing anyone credit. Don’t make it automatic that a customer is allowed a credit account. Check him out thoroughly first. It is often a good idea to allow a discount for a cash payment when you hand over the goods or have completed the job, rather than allow an account to be opened. Chase all slow payers the day they are overdue, chase them hard and continuously until they pay. Don’t accept lame excuses. Would your bank manager, from you? You have supplied the goods, so it’s your right to be paid for them. Remember, today’s slow payer could be tomorrow’s bad debt! Smart Wedding Planning - A Quick Guide to Saving Money on Your Wedding Day

Friday, August 17th, 2007

By Allison Campbell If you’ve begun to research reception venues, photographers, and other “high-ticket” items on your wedding to-do list, you’ve undoubtedly experienced a good case of sticker shock by now. You may find yourself thinking: “How can they get away with charging this much?!!” It’s a fact. The wedding industry is huge, and anything with the word “wedding” attached to it is likely to mean “expensive”. So is it feasible to hire a photographer who doesn’t necessarily focus on weddings, or a band that wouldn’t be found in your local bridal magazine? Absolutely! To get started on this road less traveled, begin by asking recently-wed family, friends or colleagues for any good wedding leads. Perhaps they’ll know of a fabulous bakery that was less expensive than all the larger ones in the area. Or an art student who just graduated from college and is looking for work as a calligrapher. Maybe there’s a friend of a friend who’s an aspiring photographer and would be able to capture fantastic wedding photos for you on your big day. Next, move your research online and check out the local wedding chat boards in your area at TheKnot.com and WeddingChannel.com. Look for posts like “Rave Reviews” and “Highly Recommended” - and be sure to also take note of any vendors that received negative reviews from other brides and grooms. Another excellent free resource is Craigslist.com. Musicians, photographers and other artists post their services regularly here in areas across the country. If you see a post that catches your eye, just send a quick email to the poster to get more information, or submit your own ad describing exactly what you’re looking for. Finally, head to Amazon.com or your local book store and buy at least one good wedding planning book. This will be your trusty reference book and will help you know just which questions to ask, so that you can make an informed decision about a particular wedding vendor. For example, knowing the various costs that are typically associated with catering will allow you to ask for only the items you NEED, and avoid paying for anything you don’t. In fact, knowing a bit about each type of wedding service vendor - caterers, musicians, DJs, etc. - will actually help save you money no matter which vendors you talk to, “professional” or not. With a little outside the box thinking and basic knowledge about the “biz”, you’re on your way to pulling together a fantastic wedding day that may just cost you less than you think! Toxins Make You Fat and Shorten Your Life

Wednesday, August 15th, 2007

By Rudy Silva When your body is toxic, toxins hide and embed themselves in your body fat. This causes your cells and organs to become sluggish and lose efficiency. The fatter you are, the more toxins you can store. As your organs and body systems lose their ability to function properly, they lose their ability to metabolize and process fat effectively. This is one reason why some of you find it difficult to lose weight - your body is not functioning properly. When you start to lose weight, this causes fat to be used up in your cells as energy and causes toxins to be released into your blood stream. If you lose weight to fast, you will have excess toxins released into your blood and this creates a variety of unhealthy symptoms and conditions - headaches, mucus, flu like symptoms, joint pains. Excessive toxins in your blood can remain there for over a year and cause you harm and that is why you need to lose weight slowly like 2 lbs a week. What are toxins and where do toxins really come from? They come from * The food you eat * The meat you eat * The vegetables you eat * The air you breathe * The thoughts you have * The activities you have Toxins are chemicals that the liver does not recognize as useful for the body. These toxins are destructive to your body cells and other body tissues. Toxins attack and destroy cell outer and inter wall surfaces. They destroy inter cell and gene structures. They create an acid body that attracts fungus, bacteria, parasites, worms, viruses, and many other pathogens. Why doesnt the body get rid of toxins through its 5 elimination channels the colon, the kidney, the skin, the lungs, and the lymphatic system? It definite does but as you get older the body becomes over whelmed with toxins and is unable to eliminate them completely through your elimination channels or neutralize them through your lymphatic system. So what does the body do with all of these toxins? It stores them in your body cells and fat cells and anywhere there is weakness in your body. It stores toxins in weak parts of your body because that part of your body will not repel the them as easily as does the healthy part of your body. This makes this weak part even weaker and eventually becomes a diseased area or a cyst. If this diseased area is allowed to exist too long, it becomes difficult to repair and to bring it back into good health. When the five elimination channels can no longer push toxins out of your body, they themselves start to get clogged. Toxins, minerals, fibrin, and other body debris combine to form layer up layer of material that causes narrowing of elimination tracts. Eventually, illness result in many of the diseases you know. How do you unclog your polluted body so that you can create good health? There are four basic step to take. * stop putting junk food into your body (Changing your Eating Habits) * clean out the toxins in your body (Cleansing) * neutralize the toxins in your body. (Detoxification) * put good pure foods into your body (Rebuilding) Rudy Silva is a natural nutritionist. He writes a newsletter called Natural Remedies That work.
