Are Phentermine Diet Pills the Answer to Weight Loss?

April 7th, 2008 by camijosiah

By Scott LeRoy Phentermine diet pills are being touted as the number one selling prescription diet aids on the market. Yet just because something is approved by the FDA and your doctor can prescribe it to you, does not necessarily mean that it is 100% safe or effective. It’s important to do your own research when it comes to medications, as many of them can have some very serious side effects that your doctor may not be aware of. There are many websites selling phentermine without a prescription, or the generic version, which presents even more problems. Of course they market it in such a way where it seems to be prescribed - an online consultation - but in reality it is no different than buying it over the counter in a drug store. But regardless of whether you buy it online or with your doctor’s prescription, there are phentermine side effects you should be aware of. Being one of the top sellers, you may be wondering “How does phentermine work?” It is essentially nothing more than an appetite suppressant. It reacts with your nervous system, stimulating it in order to alter the chemicals in your brain that control hunger. Now, if weight loss were only just about being hungry that would be one thing. If that were the case, you could fill up on carrot sticks and boiled, skinless chicken breasts and lose the desired weight. Many people have underlying issues with food, such as emotional triggers that cause them to overeat. Depression is also common in obese individuals, causing fatigue and lack of energy. If you are one of the thousands of people that weight loss isnt just about being hungry phentermine diet pills might not work for you. When asking how does phentermine work look closely at one of the precautions that are listed on the bottle. It is a warning against taking them if you have, or have had a history of, emotional problems. Since it reacts with chemicals in your brain, it can also negatively affect your moods. Most people facing obesity problems do struggle with depression. Even if they are upbeat and positive about finally getting into shape, there are bad days in any weight loss endeavor. There are phentermine side effects which can be exacerbated in those that have diabetes, high blood pressure, an overactive thyroid or glaucoma. Due to its addictive nature, those that have ever had a drug or alcohol problem face the possibility of becoming dependent on Phentermine diet pills as well. It cautions to not take more of the medication in order to get the effect. As with other prescription meds, your body develops a tolerance to it and can, in the end, leave you feeling deflated when it doesnt make you feel as good as it did at first. Some of the more common phentermine side effects, which are reported mostly during the first few weeks of use, are dry mouth, irritability, trouble sleeping, constipation and upset stomach. The most disturbing warning is that phentermine diet pills can cause serious side effects if you ever need surgery while taking them. It reacts negatively with the medications that are used during operating procedures. So, consider all the evidence and investigate for yourself all of the facts before attempting to use Phentermine diet pills. Although it can be quite effective, there are other options out there, so take a look around and decide what’s right for you. You can learn more about prescription diet pills as well as natural and herbal alternatives on our site. Regardless of what you choose, make sure you discuss everything with your doctor before choosing any prescription pill or herbal weight loss supplement. Spirit of Islam: A Primer

April 6th, 2008 by camijosiah

By Michael Tummillo Last time I wrote a message on Islam, a Catholic priest said he reported me to the FCC for broadcasting what he referred to as “an eMail hate letter.” Several long-time subscribers of various other denominations ALSO gave me a tongue-lashing… just before unsubscribing. In contrast, many others thanked me. It’s for them, and all other the seekers of truth, that I write. Not to mention the fact that, since early this morning, the phrase, “We become as the gods we serve” has been rolling around in my spirit. I had no choice but to write this. Moscow, October 25th, 2002, a special forces assault on a Moscow theater after a three-day siege left more than 90 hostages dead, but 750 others were rescued and dozens of their Chechen captors killed. What is the spiritual slant of these Chechens? They’re Muslims. Here in the states, a man goes on a killing rampage, randomly murdering 10 innocent people throughout Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. Three others, including a 13-year-old boy, were critically wounded. The sniper’s last name? Muhammad, a follower of Islam. I could go on and on with worldwide reports of atrocities going on as we speak, direct results of Islamic aggression. It would be depressing. Here’s an interesting snippet I found on the REAL Muhammad whose upstart religion is now covering the planet: “Muhammad gained wealth & power when he led raiding parties against innocent caravans. Zealous followers of Muhammad raided the rich caravans traveling to Mecca for polytheistic worship. “In 624 Muhammad and 300 Muslims attack Meccan caravan at Fabr (Vabr) … In 626 drives out Jewish tribes … In 628 - 629 attacks Jewish Oasis at Khaibar.”Arabs in History by Bernard Lewis: Harper & Row - 1966 revised edition. After reading that, one might say that terrorism is in the Islamic blood. ALLAH IS LOVE? Muslims today portray Allah as loving and kind yet obligate each follower to obey whenever one of Allahs “spokesman” calls for a jihad or holy war. By the way, according to Paul Harvey on Friday, August 19, 2005, Pakistani schools are now teaching “Jihad” to their children. Since Allah is not the one and only true loving God of which the Bible speaks, suicidal terrorists were assuredly most unpleasantly surprised on September 11, 2001 after they caused the very planes on which they traveled to crash into American buildings. Surprise! They had believed all their lives that they would enter into Paradise and live happily ever after with Allah and Muhammad and a bevy of virgins. They had put “faith in faith” rather than putting faith in Jesus Christ. The object of ones faith is of utmost importance. If Jesus had been that object, rather than the Islamic Spirit of Religion, these attacks would never have happened. You see, if it is not the Holy Spirit who we allow to lead and guide us, SOME spirit WILL gladly fill that position. Spirits of Religion, Murder, Chaos and others, all operate in unison through Islam as they launch their constant assaults against humanity worldwide. These demonic spirits know us quite well and focus their attacks upon mankind’s religious nature, i.e., our desire to please a god of some sort in an effort to obtain his blessings and favors … regardless of that god’s blood thirsty tendencies. But you see, right there is where most Christians lose their impact in spiritual warfare: the majority of us don’t even BELIEVE in demon spirits as being much more than mere symbols of evil. Satan LOVES that about Christians! BACK TO ISLAM The simplest way to describe Islam is that it is a religion of submission to the will of Allah. To Muslims, Allah is the God that they worship, the one TRUE God. But his character revealed in the Qur’an is not the same as the character of the God of the Bible. If one is to submit to Allah, one must submit to Muhammad and all the people that are leaders of Islam. Faith in Islam is based upon the fundamentals of the Qur’an as well as the lifestyle of Muhammad. True, his historical life was not all that exemplary. According to Islam, however, Muhammad was actually sinless. He is portrayed as having been the holiest person on planet Earth. He is a revered by Muslims worldwide. AYATOLLAH YOU SO! Remember Ayatollah Khomeini from Iran? He was from the head of the Shiite sect and was called ‘Ruhollah,’ meaning ‘the spirit of Allah.’ That’s what the Iranian people believed. They thought Khomeini was very holy. His words were the laws of Islam though he altered the law and regulations strongly. According to Reza Safa (a former militant Shiite Muslim) in his book Inside Islam, Khomeini’s reign of terror was equaled to what happened in the French Revolution. Whoever resisted Khomeini and his regime was resisting Allah. When the Iranians started the war with Iraq, over 1 million Iranians and Iraqis died. Unbeknownst to its followers, the Islamic jihad is a spiritual force that wants to wage war against everything that is from God; everything that is holy MUST be destroyed. It is oppressive and controlling. Again, we have to go back to the fact that Islam means submission, total submission; that it is a theocracy centered on the supreme will of Allah. To refuse obedience to Allah, or to those in leadership who serve him, is to be counted an infidel and an enemy of Islam. TV’s talking heads would have us believe that Muslims are very peace-loving people and that there’s nothing in Islam that encourages war. Though the majority of Muslims are good people (all the ones I know are great!), in actuality, through warfare and terrorism, Islam has spread since the 7th century devouring nation after nation as Christians neglected the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus to “go and make disciples.” There are currently about one billion adherents to Islam. In Safa’s book, there is a passage taken from Sura 9:5 of the Qur’an: “When the sacred months are passed, kill those who join other gods wherever you find them, and seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them with every kind of ambush But if they convert and observe prayer and pay the obligatory alms, then let them go their way.” To those who fear the impact of Harry Potter books, THIS is the real book to be concerned about! Are today’s fanatics yielding to these teaching? You better believe it. Does the average Muslim know the Qur’an? Most Muslims I’ve met here in the USA are pretty clueless. Is the typical Muslim even able to read the Qur’an? Fact is, just as is the case with most Christians, the majority of Muslims are ignorant of what their holy book actually teaches. Though some may have an idea regarding its message, the majority are led about by their leaders like lambs to slaughter. Most people cannot understand the Qur’an, because it is in Arabic and they are told you have to understand the Qur’an in Arabic or you don’t understand what it’s saying at all. For all the Muslim nations that are not Arab, such as Iran, the Muslims must learn the language and study the Qur’an in Arabic. Most won’t put forth the effort. They claim Islam they one would choose its favorite soccer team. They follow the instruction of Muslim clerics for a multitude of reasons. Imagine being taught to hate the Christian and the Jew from age 4. Imagine being taught that, to die as a martyr was a quick ticket to Paradise. Folks, this could be a very long war. DO THEY KNOW? Most Muslims are completely unaware of what their holy book teaches, just as most Christians are pretty clueless about the bible. Here are a few things the Qur’an has to say about Jesus: His virgin birth…When the angels said, ‘O Mary, ALLAH gives thee glad tidings of a son through a word from HIM; his name shall be the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, honoured in this world and in the next, and of those who are granted nearness to God; ‘And he shall speak to the people in the cradle, and when of middle age, and he shall be of the righteous. She said, ‘My Lord, how shall I have a son, when no man has touched me? He said, ‘Such is the way of ALLAH. HE creates what HE pleases. When HE decrees a thing HE says to it ‘Be,’ and it is;” — Qur’an, Surah 3:38-48 His Resurrection…”Thereupon she pointed to him. They said, ‘How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?’ Jesus said, ‘I am a servant of ALLAH. HE has given me the Book, and has made me a Prophet; ‘And HE has made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and has enjoined upon me Prayer and almsgiving so long as I live; ‘And HE has made me dutiful towards my mother, and has not made me arrogant and graceless; ‘And peace was on me the day I was born, and peace will be on me the day I shall die, and the day I shall be raised up to life again.’ That was Jesus, son of Mary. This is a statement of the truth concerning which they entertain doubt.” — Qur’an, Surah 19:30-35 DOES GOD LOVE MUSLIMS? Of COURSE He does. The vast majority are wonderful, loving, hospitable folks who, just like the rest of us, must trust Jesus ALONE for their salvation. We must differentiate between these people and those who have yielded to the spirit of jihad and resist the tendency to prejudge every Middle-Easterner. Typically, once a person yields to the Islamic spirit, they fall within the grasp of a very vengeful, hateful, demonic, Spirit of Death. The determining factors regarding whether or not a person chooses to participate in a jihad might include the leaders one is listening to, and how strictly one decides to adhere to the militant teachings of the Qur’an. Islam actually has two major demonic entities at its helm: First, there is the Spirit of Fear. Islam creates fear and rules within the atmosphere it creates. Second, is the Spirit of Death. War, terrorism, and suicide are all well-represented within every jihad. What are we up against? Safa knows. I recall sitting in Bible College, listening with more than a little synicism to the prophetic warnings of a former 8-year missionary to South Africa. His warning? Islam is coming! At that time, I couldn’t even recall SEEING a person from the Middle East there in Arlington, Texas. A billion people currently adhere to Islam, a religion growing at a rate of 50 million a year. How many have yielded to this jihad spirit? No one knows for certain but by the commentary I’m hearing, even within so-called Christian circles, very few “experts” understand what we are up against. We are facing an enormous demonic stronghold - one to which the world, including “Christian America” - has given place. Islam is nothing less than an allegiance to a demon spirit. Though the West is not at war with Islam, Islam has certainly waged war against us. “The weapons we use are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds,” 2 Cor 10:4. Islam has permeated countries such as Iran, Iraq, North Africa, Egypt, Algeria and Sudan. France has more mosques than churches and England is being overrun by those of the Muslim faith. Regarding Pakistan, Safa writes in his book that Pakistan has 120 million Muslims, he says. Out of that, 10-15 percent are the radical Muslimsthe Taliban variety. At the very root of Islam is Satanic involvement. Spiritually speaking, Islam is one of the wisest moves of Satan, Safa says. Muslim tradition holds that the angel Gabriel appeared to Muhammad and gave him revelations that formed the Qur’an. When Gabriel appeared to him (Muhammad) he would get a revelation. Sometimes he would see a cloud and at the sight of the cloud he would shiver and go home and hide himself under a blanket, such fear would come upon him, Safa says. Fear, as with death, has been part of Islam since day one. Because the true battle with Islam is in the spiritual realm, Safa believes the Wests reliance upon military might will ultimately fail. … showing the strength of the arm doesnt stop them it increases their resolve, he says. I have stated from day one, if we killed Sadaam and Osama, there would be a thousand more right behind them. Frankly, if we REALLY wanted to defeat the Islamic spirit, we would bombard theirr children with the gospel through coloring books, candy wrapped in tracts, puppet shows, movies and videos. At the heart of Islam is works-based righteousness. They work so hard to please God, Safa says. The pinnacle of that law is martyrdom. In Islam, Martyrdom is the only way to assure ones salvation. In Inside Islam, Safa tells of the Ayatollah Khomeinis televised appeal for ten thousand volunteers to fight against Iraq. Young boys who volunteered became known as the basiji, meaning, the mobilized. The next day all the boys on the street who had volunteered had a piece of red tape on their foreheads. The basijis volunteered to clear the minefields with their bodies, and they did it. Military leaders would send out as many as five thousand boys at once to run through the fields and trip the mines, Safa writes. Many of the boys were only 12 or 13 years old, he adds. To them, Khomeini gave the promise of behesht (paradise). To symbolize this false promise, he gave them a key which they hung around their necka key with which they could open the gate of heaven. The suicide bombers of 9-11 are just another case in point. These people are already dead before they attack us, Safa says. THE GOOD NEWS? As Islamic terrorism grips the nations, a confident, peaceful Church will be given the Divine opportunity to tell the world about our source of peace amidst the Islamic storm. This is exactly how Reza Safa, an ex-radical Muslim from Iran was saved: through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We can tell them about what it is we’ve found through the intimacy of our personal relationship with Jesus Christ. You DO have that type of relationship with Him, don’t you? Reza Safa’s quotes from Monday, January 28, 2002 report by ASSIST News Service as well as his book, Inside Islam. CLOSING QUESTIONS & COMMENTS To my thinking Muslim friends, I have these six brief questions to ask regarding Jesus, followed by a few comments… 1) Does the Qur’an say that Jesus was sinless? Was He a perfect man? 2) Does the Qur’an tell Muhammad to repent? 3) The Qur’an says many times that Jesus is the Messiah? Agree? 4) Was Mohammad the Messiah? 5) Where’s the body of Jesus? 6) The body of Muhammad is buried in Medina, as you may know. Why did God take Jesus but NOT Muhammad? Strangely, Muslim teachers today allege that Jesus message was given to the Jews only, yet the Qur’an mentions Jesus as being “a sign for all peoples [beings]” (Surat 21:91). While Muslims call Jesus Nabi Isa (literally Jesus the Messenger), the actual message he brought is not recorded in the Quran; it is found in the Gospel. The Qur’an teaches: “We believe in Allah, and the revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob … to Moses and Jesus and that given to all prophets from their Lord. We make no differences between one and another of them” (Surat 2:136). To justify such contradiction to the Quran, Muslim teachers declare that the Bible, which originally recorded the messages of Abraham … Moses and Jesus, is no more the Word of God, but has been changed and corrupted. That again is not what the Quran teaches, when it says: “People of the Book! [commonly accepted as referring to the Jews and the Christians] … stand fast by the Law, the Gospel and all the revelation that has come to you from your Lord” (Surat 5:68). These words were written in the seventh century. Many old Bible manuscripts still in existence today are considerably older than that, yet they do not differ from todays Bibles. One would expect Muslim teachers to state when the Bible was supposedly changed, by whom, and for what purposes, but they do not. The Quran actually challenges Muslims: “If you were in doubt as to what we have revealed unto thee, then ask those who have been reading the Book from before thee,” (Surat 10:94). Which Book? The Book given before the Qur’an, of course! No man can honestly claim, on the basis of the Qur’an, that the Bible has been corrupted. It actually orders: “Ask those who possess the message,” (Surat 21:7). Those were the Jews and Christians, the People of the Book. As we already noticed, the Quran explicitly states that the Gospel is the Word of God. And it also states categorically that “no man can change the Words of Allah” (Surat 10:64 and 6:34). Unsecured Loans: The Best Option for Tenants

April 5th, 2008 by camijosiah

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Mary_Wise]Mary Wise Unsecured Loans Defined Unsecured loans are not guaranteed with any asset, thus, the risk of repossession does not exist. This doesnt mean that the lender cannot take legal action in order to recover his money. However, such a legal process would be significantly longer and more expensive than with secured loans. Since there is no asset securing the loan, the risk involved for the lender is higher and so, the interest rate charged for the loan will also be significantly higher. Though the gap that exists between secured loan interest rates and unsecured loan interest rates has decreased, it is still an important factor and you should shop around for the lowest interest rate available whenever possible. As regards to loan amounts, generally you cant request a high loan amount with unsecured loans. However, though this remains true, lately lenders have lessened their policies on this matter. Besides, the loan amount will depend on the overall value of your assets (albeit they are not used as collateral) and on your credit score and history. The loan length also presents certain restrictions on unsecured loans that are not present on secured loans. As with the interest rate and loan amount, the loan length will be determined by your credit score and history and within certain boundaries, it is negotiable. Where to find the lenders Since unsecured loans dont have the best terms on the financial industry, it is best if you compare many different loan offers before deciding which lender will you work with. In order to do so, you need to request loan quotes and compare costs, interest rates, loan amounts and loan lengths and see which proposal best suits your needs. There are many lenders that do online loans and even those who dont process loans online have web sites where you can see what they offer and find contact information. The smartest thing to do is to search online for lenders since this way, youll be able to find many loan offers with the best terms. There are even some online companies that offer access to a wide range of lenders listed all in the same site. This is probably the easiest and more comfortable way to go. Tips for Approval In order to get approved you need to focus on improving your credit score and history as this is what will determine the lenders decision. Make sure your credit report doesnt show wrong information that might lower your possibilities. Contact credit agencies immediately if you find inconsistencies and request them to fix the mistake. Apply only for the money you need, it is easier to get approved for a lower amount than for a higher amount. You should request only the amount you need for urgent expenses. Future expenses can wait; besides, your monthly payments will increase your credit score and let you get another loan on better terms in the near future. If your credit score is too slow, get yourself a co-signer that trusts you in order to get approved and get better terms. If the co-signer has a good credit score, you might as well get better terms with lower monthly payments that will be a lot easier to afford. Loan Payment Protection Insurance - Worth The Cost?

April 2nd, 2008 by camijosiah

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Joseph_Kenny]Joseph Kenny Nowadays, every time you apply for a loan you will most likely be offered payment protection insurance. If you are taking out a particularly large loan, the idea may seem very attractive. These insurance policies will take over repayments on your loans in the event of losing your job or being involved in a medical emergency. But what are the true costs and benefits of this type of insurance? Given that over a billion pounds is spent in Britain on this kind of insurance annually, it is worth asking yourself. The Cost Of Insurance The fact of the matter is that the lending industry has become more and more competitive in recent years. With interest rates getting lower and lower, lenders have sought to find out ways of increasing their returns. One of the ways they have come up with is to offer various additional products that accompany the loan, such as payment protection insurance. What may come as a surprise is that payment protection can often cost as much as the loan interest repayments. The payment protection repayments can, incredibly, effectively double the cost of the loan. With such startling consequences, it is imperative that consumers think carefully before opting for such options. Peace of Mind? Many people will hold the view that as lives and jobs become more and more unstable, the peace of mind offered by such policies are worth the price. In some cases this is true, but not always. Every insurance policy varies, but one thing remains the same, it is very difficult to get an insurance policy to pay out. You should look very carefully at the fine print of your policy and you will be amazed to find out what actually is covered, and what exclusions and exceptions apply. For example, unemployment protection may only kick in after a certain period of unemployment, will not count if the unemployment was voluntary, and can require proof that the applicant has actively sought employment, and not turned any down, for the period since losing their job. This will give the insurance company literally dozens of reasons for refusing pay out in most instances. Dont Accept The First Quote! As well as these conditions, you should also shop around. The person you are borrowing from will always offer you a policy, but this unlikely to be the best policy available and a little shopping around will go a long way. You will probably also find your self better terms or terms that suit your needs more closely. Government standards are in place to make sure such policies are clear and in plain language, but complaints are still pouring into consumer protection groups regarding these policies. The basic advice here is be very careful if opting for expensive insurance policies. Make sure you understand the terms, and that you think they might be of benefit to you, and if you dont want the policy, just say no. Seven Basic Bible Facts Every Christian Should Know and Believe

March 29th, 2008 by camijosiah

By Robert C. Brock FACT NO. 1That the Bible MUST be rightly divided in order for it to make sense. Notice what it says: “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the Word of truth” (II Tim. 2:15). This is one of the cardinal rules for interpreting the whole Bible. Neglect of this rule or a faulty use of it will lead to only one result, CONFUSION, since our God is not the author of confusion. The reason for a right division of the Bible is because of God’s two distinct purposes: (1) His purpose concerning Israel and the world according to PROPHECY, and (2) His purpose concerning the Gentiles in this present age according to the MYSTERY revealed to Paul. God doesn’t want us to confuse the teaching of these two purposes. He has very graciously given us the key for a proper understanding of this. FACT NO. 2That the DISTINCTIVENESS of Pauline truth is a most important doctrine of the Bible. The risen Lord Jesus Christ revealed His heart and His mind to the Apostle Paul: “But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it but by THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST” (Gal. 1:11,12). “If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward; how that BY REVELATION He made known unto me the MYSTERY…” (Eph. 3:2,3). This proves conclusively that Paul did not preach what the 12 Apostles preached. Rather he went up to Jerusalem to TELL THEM of the special gospel of grace that Christ gave to him (Gal. 2:2). He preached Jesus Christ according to the REVELATION OF THE MYSTERY which was kept secret, hid in God (Rom. 16:25; Eph. 3:9). He was the Apostle to the Gentiles and magnified his office (Rom. 11:13). FACT NO. 3That the gospel we are to preach is called the Gospel of the grace of God. “But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy and the ministry which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF GOD” (Acts 20:24). This is God’s only message for the lost in this present age. We are to follow Paul as he followed Christ (I Cor. 11:1). In his writings ALONE do we find the doctrine, position, walk, and destiny of the Christian. Some other important aspects of grace are: 1. We are saved by GRACEEph. 2:8,9. 2. We are justified freely by His GRACERom. 3:24; Titus 3:7. 3. His GRACE is sufficient for usII Cor. 12:9. 4. We are not under Law but under GRACERom. 6:14,15. 5. This age is the age of GRACE Eph. 3:2. 6. We are to approach the throne of GRACE in prayerHeb. 4:16. FACT NO. 4That the Bible definitely teaches that water baptism was and is a part of Israel’s religion (Heb. 6:1,2; 9:10). It was for the remission of sins and was by sprinkling (Mark 1:4; Acts 2:38; Ezek. 36:25). In this age there is only ONE baptism, not two: “One Lord, one faith, ONE BAPTISM” (Eph. 4:5). This baptism is the placing of the Christian into the Church, the Body of Christ, by the Holy Spirit: “For by one SPIRIT are we all BAPTIZED INTO ONE BODY, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit” (I Cor. 12:13). This baptism takes place once for all at the time of salvation. The Apostle Paul was not sent to baptize with water: “For Christ sent me NOT TO BAPTIZE but to preach the gospel…” (I Cor. 1:17). Only a change in God’s purpose would necessitate a statement like this. There is no importance attached to water baptism, today. It is not a part of Christianity and only causes confusion. FACT NO. 5That we must understand the two-fold ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. During His earthly ministry He ministered exclusively to Israel: “But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the HOUSE OF ISRAEL” (Matt. 15:24). His whole ministry to the Nation was under the Law of Moses (Matt. 5:17; Gal. 4:4,5). Christians are not under the Law so we are not to live according to Israel’s teachings. During His present ministry in Heaven, He is ministering according to what He revealed to the Apostle Paul. He is saving men according to His gospel of Grace. He is at the throne of grace making intercession for us (Rom. 8:34). We are to live in Paul’s epistles where pure Christianity is found. This is not to say we should neglect the rest of the Bible. It is ALL for us but not all TO us (I Cor. 10:6,11). FACT NO. 6That SIGNS belong to the Nation of Israel and its religion: “For the JEWS REQUIRE A SIGN, and the Gentiles seek after wisdom” (I Cor. 1:22). Speaking in tongues is a SIGN: “Wherefore TONGUES are for a SIGN, not to them that believe but to them that believe not…” (I Cor. 14:22). In Jesus’ day, those who sought after signs were called an evil and adulterous generation (Matt. 12:39). The eight miracles of the Gospel of John are properly called SIGNS, which included the rising of Lazarus from the dead; and in the commission of Mark 16:15-18, water baptism is associated with SIGNS. This is proved in the book of Acts because everywhere water baptism is mentioned a SIGN is mentioned in the immediate context. This present age is a signless age. We have been blessed with all SPIRITUAL blessings in the heavenlies in Christ (Eph. 1:3). This is where the emphasis lies for the Christian. FACT NO. 7That the COMMISSION the Church, the Body of Christ, is to work under, is found in II Corinthians 5:14-21 and Ephesians 3:9. The Kingdom commission of Matthew 28:19-20 and Mark 16:15-18 does not belong to God’s present grace purpose. The message of reconciliation has been committed to US, the Body of Christ. RESULTS: 1. The Christian would begin to perceive and grasp the deep things of God (I Cor. 2:10-12). 2. There would be a wonderful growth into spiritual maturity and adulthood (Eph. 4:12-15). 3. He would become a faithful steward of the mysteries of God (I Cor. 2:7; 4:1,2). 4. He would possess the Biblical answer to Satan’s false cults like Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, Christian Scientists, Unitarians, Modernists, etc. They all borrow some aspects of Israel’s religion. 5. A mighty revival would take place if Christians would get back to Pauline truth. My friend, if you are not saved, the grace of God invites you to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour. You are a sinner and need to be saved (Rom. 3:23). “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved…” (Acts 16:31). “…now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation” (II Cor. 6:2). It is infinitely better to receive Him and spend eternity in Heaven than to reject Him and spend eternity in the Lake of Fire! How To Prevent Stretch Marks

March 28th, 2008 by camijosiah

By AJ Stamp Our outward appearance is very important to us. It determines our confidence, our moods, what we wear, and what we do. Stretch marks are permanent tears in the skin that make us feel self conscious about our appearance. If you know how to prevent stretch marks, you can keep your skin looking smooth and young. In this article we will discuss a few ways to help prevent the appearance of stretch marks. Knowing how to prevent stretch marks starts with taking care of your skin. The best way to do this is to make sure that you stay hydrated by drinking the appropriate amount of water every day. Water will not only help keep you healthy, but it will keep your skin cells hydrated and elastic. When your skin is dehydrated, fluctuations in your weight (either up or down) can cause permanent tears in your skin. While you are keeping your skin hydrated, make sure that fluctuations in your weight are gradual. Weight gain is a very common reason for stretch marks, but losing weight can also cause them. If you lose excessive weight too quickly, you can get stretch marks. You should also know how to prevent stretch marks with your diet. Water is the most important nutrient for keeping your skin healthy and hydrated, but you should also make sure that your well-balanced diet is full of Vitamins A, C, and E, and zinc. A healthy diet will help to keep your largest organ, your skin, smooth and supple. While you’re working at keeping your skin healthy from the inside, you should also keep it healthy on the outside. Keep your skin moisturized with a good lotion containing Vitamin E or cocoa butter for best results. The best time to apply lotion is right after a shower, before your skin has too much time to dry. Georgia Criminal Laws

March 26th, 2008 by camijosiah

By Jennifer Bailey A crime is anything that is illegal. Common crimes include street fights, drug use, and other such acts. The state government, through the public prosecutor, would file a criminal lawsuit. Criminals would either be fined, incarcerated or sometimes both, depending on the severity of the crime. The state of Georgia, like other states, has some common criminal laws. However, the state itself has also established some laws that are to be followed when arresting a person for any form of criminal act. Any act of defiance that might breach the public laws or completely neglect the same can be construed as an act of crime, and the state can file a lawsuit against the individual. Since criminal laws vary significantly in specific areas, criminals in the state of Georgia would require the services of a local criminal lawyer to help their cases. Hence, it is very important that the lawyer is well acquainted with the current laws that exist in the state at the time of arrest. A criminal lawyer would be able to fight the case in court if the individual is indeed innocent and being charged without undue reason. For guilty parties, getting the fine or incarceration lessened can be done with the help of a good attorney. Finding a lawyer from a specific area or county in Georgia is a good choice when charged with a crime. They would be able to keep up with the latest updates in the laws of that county or state. Even though an experienced and qualified lawyer is considered a boon, one who is from the same state is better than an experienced lawyer from any other state. A Georgian criminal defense or appeal lawyer would be able to provide excellent advice in all matters relating to legal and criminal procedures that need to be faced when an individual is charged with criminal acts in the state of Georgia. Available online are many websites belonging to legal companies housing hundreds of qualified and experienced lawyers in the state of Georgia. Also available online are a list of a persons rights when first arrested, such as keeping silent until a lawyer arrives. Contacting a lawyer at the earliest opportunity is a good option when arrested for a crime. Arranging for bail in a Georgia court is easier with a lawyer around to take care of the deed. Getting arrested can be a traumatic experience. A criminal lawyer, for both prosecution and defense, would be a necessity, due to the complicated laws and procedures that can be understood only by an attorney. A criminal attorney would be able to take care of all the tasks that are involved in getting bail or being released without any penalty or imprisonment. Zarqawi Is Dead, Will It Help?

March 24th, 2008 by camijosiah

By Tim Tuohy Radical fundamentalists have been the boon of religions from the outset; one only needs to remember the Inquisition and the Crusades to understand that Islam is not the first religion that has allowed a few to go bad. However, of late I have been doing some research on the prophet Mohammed, if one wants to call him such, and I am becoming more confused as I go. First though, lets look at the religion the Romans called the Cult of Jesus. Objectively, we can look back through history and for a hundred or so years after Jesus lived there is precious little that survives. If it werent for the letters of Paul and a few references to Jesus and His crucifixion in Roman history, we may not have known about Him because the Jewish religion would probably have absorbed the Jerusalem Christians by the time the Temple was destroyed. That He is remembered at all is a testament not to men but to the power of the man who was Jesus. We can not lay hands on the historical figure of Jesus but we can be certain that He was here and that His life changed the world. Muhammad, like many successful leaders, broke with existing restraints in Islam by what Encyclopedia Britannica calls transformative conservatism. He expanded his authority; by giving existing practices a new history, he reoriented them; by assigning a new cause to existing problems, he resolved them. His character fit his historical situation perfectly. At least, in his Mecca years he was a consensus builder even if he was breaking down tribal beliefs in favor of a universal definition of the faith. However, when he moved to Medina, he began to provide for his community through caravan raiding. Thus, he invited hostility. He required all the Medinans to take sides. Initially he failed but that was followed by successes, at Nakhlah and Badr, against a large Meccan force; and they continued to succeed. From that time on, conversion to Islām involved joining an established political group, the successes of which were tied to its proper spiritual orientation, regardless of whether the convert shared that orientation completely. During his years in Medina a major doctrine of Islām emerged: the connection between material success and divine favor. It was during his years at Medina that he attempted to draw the Jews and Christians into his universal Islamic religion. When they refused his efforts and ignored his orders military solutions were exercised. Still, this is no different than any other political group, is it? However, during this period he began to proclaim that killing was an acceptable way to eliminate unbelievers. So he had a 100% conversion rate. You either converted or died. A practice that is still followed in many places in the world. Skip forward now to June 8, 2006. Zarqawi has been killed. How many other mini-me Muhammads exist in the religion? Will his death help? Will killing radical fundamentalist Muslims win the war, the war most of them see as a continuation of the Crusades? As in the days of the Inquisition, forced conversion does not work. What do you do with an enemy who thinks their death is holy and your death is justified? I am beginning to ask myself are we on the brink of a war with Islam? I am not prepared to accept ISlam as the way of life for my wife, daughter and son.We may not like the war we are in but it would do us well to remember it was not a war of our choosing.
